Smokin’ Hoggz bills The Perfect Storm as a “buttery chipotle” rub. Although I have a hard time detecting the butter flavor once I’ve cooked with it, I can definitely taste it straight out of the bottle. Ample salt and a big chipotle and black pepper kick hide the underlying sweetness.

The Perfect Storm from Smokin’ Hoggz BBQ delivers all the classic BBQ flavors along with a chipotle tingle that pushes this one into delicious territory. It’s a good example of flavor that can be both a little mellow and still quite remarkable. Great color, too.
