Billed as a shawarma-style seasoning, Pork Mafia’s BBQ Nazareth brings the Old World to your backyard with authentic Middle Eastern flavors. Makes for an incredible pork marinade when mixed with olive oil and lemon juice. Add a tablespoon or two of honey to round off the bitter edge.
Soft, understated, exotic, mysterious and intriguing. Cinnamon, allspice and other baking spices make this quite different from traditional BBQ flavors. I use a little in Greek dishes like pastitsio when I’m looking to mix things up from the way my Yia Yia made them.
