Bayou Bandit by All Q’ued Up delivers an earthy, herbal opening. A broad umami undertone fleshes out the savories. Understated, complementary and delicious. The spices are mild and complex. I didn’t get a “Cajun” vibe in my blind testing — but I thought it was elevated and special.

I love it as an all-purpose seasoning; it’s delicious and flavorful without being too aggressive. Garlic and onion savories are flirtatious and appealing, with salt and beefy umami deepening the flavors. Terrific hint of freshness from lemon pepper and herbs.
